Upon successful completion, a 2 year (FPG Centurion) Fall Protection Awareness certificate will be issued automatically.

Regulations pertaining to this topic vary from one province to the next and then again in federally regulated workplaces. For convenience Olelearning has captured Fall Arrest/Protection Regulations which can be reviewed by province and for Federally Regulated workplaces. In general however a worker at risk of falling more than 3 metres (10 feet) must be protected by a guardrail, travel-restraint mechanism or a fall-arrest system. A travel-restraint system uses a CSA-approved full body harness with lanyard and lifeline and anchorage point. It allows a worker to travel just far enough to reach the edge but not over it.
