Industrial/Commercial Fall Protection

Course Overview

This program will enable a person to train a student to understand the use of fall protection components as they relate to an entire system. In some cases it is more economical for part of the actual workforce to be capable of instructing different courses, rather than bringing in outside trainers. These in-house trainers must meet certain standards and requirements in order to be recognized as fall protection trainers.

In other cases, trainers may be a part of a training consulting firm that would like to offer a Fall Protection Group caliber course to their clients.  Fall Protection Group runs several Train-The-Trainer courses each year in Alberta and British Columbia.

Also feel free to read through our Trainer Privacy Policy.

Features

This program is intended to allow students to gain an in-depth understanding of fall protection, and to prepare them to teach a one day fall protection course. Students will have the opportunity to observe a one day program, whereby they will learn the components and systems associated with using fall protection. The students will then dissect the course with the instructor, having opportunities to ask questions and learn the course materials. The students will then be required to present a portion of the course to ensure a high standard of delivery. This result's in the students achieving a 3 year trainer certification.
